Features

Ground floor

The lower floor (about 80m2) mainly consists of a large open living space. Here you will find a dining area with 4 chairs, which is connected to the kitchen by a hatch. There is an adjoining conservatory with a comfortable seating area, which, thanks to under-floor heating, can be used all year around. It opens onto a patio where you can sit outside. On the other side of the house, you will find yourself in another cosy lounge with a woodburning stove and a television. The sofa there can be converted into a double bed.

A spacious bathroom with a toilet, a shower and a bath is also located on this floor, together with an entry hall with coat rack.

Upper floor

Connected to the upper landing you will find two separate bedrooms (each about 10m2). One bedroom is equipped with a double bed, the other one has two twin beds. In the latter is a second television. A small toilet is also available on the upper floor.

GARDEN

A green, woody garden with patio and garden furniture.

Important to know

We've taken care to decorate the house with love and character. However, it may not compare to the spotlessly functional decor of conventional holiday homes. The garden gate is a little stiff, and the path up to the house is somewhat uneven (and not suitable for wheelchairs or people who have problems walking). We have plans to make changes in the future, but we would like to point out that that's the way it is at the moment.

The garden is not landscaped, it has woodland character which we would like to retain, with mossy woodland lawn, some pinecones and needles. You are sure to see at least one red squirrel if you sit in the garden, and under the century-old tall trees you can watch and listen to a multitude of birds.
